FMG Enterprises is a privately owned and operated vacuum pump, motor and blower rebuilder, seller,
and service provider for clients in the semiconductor and industrial markets. Our primary focus is vane,
piston, dry, turbo and cryo pump rebuilding and on-site maintenance.

Summary

FMG Enterprises Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to support its service and sales
operations in Santa Clara, CA. As a growing company of 40 people, the accountant is responsible for the
day-to-day financial activities including the sales and service function that are critical to a number of large
and small semiconductor OEMs.

Job Duties

  • Collect weekly payroll timesheets. Bi-weekly payroll processing.
  • High-volume invoice processing and payment posting across PC/MRP and QuickBooks
  • Check customer credit references and follow-up with delinquent customer payments
  • Monthly sales tax reporting, including preparation and filing of quarterly sales tax returns
  • Customer credit memo production
  • Internal tracking of sales pump across categories for each pump type
  • Enter all expenses and payables across PC/MRP and QuickBooks
  • Generate and maintain daily AR, AP, Cash Flow reports for management review
  • Daily maintain check register
  • Monthly bank reconciliation across operating and payroll accounts
  • Maintain employee files and track eligibly/compliance for benefits
  • Administer 401K compliance, employee garnishment, and other associated payroll reporting needs
  • Contract administration, compliance reporting, and review
  • Working with CPA to make year-end adjustments in preparation for federal tax returns
  • Onboarding/offboarding activities for employees and contractors
  • Ensure inventory levels are accurately reflected in systems
  • Ensure all commission payments are made on-time
  • Administer Employee Medical benefits programs

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Prefer 2-4 year degree but will accept experience, relative certifications and applicable courses
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience responsible for Payroll Processing, Accounts Receivable,
  • Accounts Payable, Account Reconciliation, and Generating Financial Reports
  • Familiarity with state and local laws as they apply to payroll administration and compliance
  • Experience with Worker’s Compensation Audit, Compliance Audit, and General Liability Audit
  • Organized and able to multi-task in our fast pace working environment
  • Develop respectful working relationships with diverse coworkers, colleagues, and internal/external customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Programs; ability to manage emails, create presentations, spreadsheets, documents and other items as requested
  • Familiarity with Docusign, Adobe, Zoom/Teams
  • Expertise in QuickBooks accounting and familiarity with payroll processing platforms
  • Experience working through transitions with a positive approach to learning and establishing new processes
