Balzers / Pfeiffer Vacuum Pumps & Equipment
pumps & equipment library > Balzers / Pfeiffer

For more than 100 years, the Pfeiffer vacuum pump has been setting milestones in vacuum technology. Among their more innovative products is the turbomolecular pump, which is able to generate a vacuum in the high to ultra-high range. By teaming with Balzers, a pioneer in the creation of performance-enhancing coatings for precision tools, Pfeiffer was able to produce a vacuum pump suitable for heat treating applications and again change the world of vacuum technology.

With the inception of the Pfeiffer Balzers vacuum pump, the two companies were able to stand behind their dedication to creating innovative solutions utilizing high technology. Other companies have tried to follow in their footsteps and create a heat treating pump, but none have been as successful as Pfeiffer and Balzers.
